about me
Hello, guest! I'm delighted
to see you here.
My name is Dina,
and I am a tattoo artist originally from Ukraine,
now based in Chicago
-
Let me share a bit about my journey into the world of tattoos. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. I first graduated from art school and then from an art college, and I have been tattooing for 14 years.
-
In my work, you’ll find themes inspired by nature: plants, insects, and animals. Occasionally, I adorn these designs with jewels while maintaining a sense of natural imperfection. I also have a passion for creating magical creatures. My artistic style leans towards realism with a touch of whimsy. I love delicate, elegant forms, layered designs, and vibrant colors blended with translucent shadows.
I am a resident artist at the cozy
Speakeasy Custom Tattoo shop. I look forward to seeing you there!

FAQS
-
My rate is $200 per hour. A typical session lasts 4-5 hours (or less for smaller tattoos). The cost for small colored tattoos starts at $300. After receiving your description, I can provide a rough estimate. For larger pieces, my estimate may have a slight variation
-
Before your session, ensure that you are feeling healthy and well. In the days leading up to the appointment, try to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. This will help your body cope with the process. Additionally, moisturize the area where the tattoo will be applied with any lotion, as this can significantly speed up the work.
Avoid taking antibiotics prior to your session. Arrive well-rested, and feel free to bring snacks, as you may spend quite some time in the studio. Please do not schedule important commitments immediately after the session, as it may run longer than expected. Also, avoid booking a tattoo session right before or after a beach trip.
It is best to come to the session in dark clothes, as it may get dirty -
If you want to cover an old tattoo with a new one, please send me a photo taken in natural light of your existing tattoo. The new design will generally be larger than the old one, often with areas of solid color.
If you're looking to refresh your old tattoo, I can enhance the colors, add depth, and texture. However, I cannot change the shape of the existing tattoo or alter dark colors to light ones. I will only agree to a cover-up or refresh if I am confident in my ability to effectively cover or enhance the old design. For refreshes, I won’t be able to provide an exact visualization before the session. -
I usually start working at 12:00 PM. If necessary, we can begin later, but not past 2:00 PM for a full session. Sessions last no more than 5 hours, but considering breaks and preparation time, the total time will exceed 5 hours. Therefore, it's best not to plan anything important for the evening after your session. For one week post-session, please avoid physical exertion, especially cardio workouts

“Everything went perfect and I am over the moon. My artist is Dina and I reached out to her 5 months in advance. She was flexible in my schedule and the piece took about 5.5 hours. She worked quickly and diligently, the shop was incredibly clean and organized and Dina was nothing but a pro in her craft. I requested a small add on the night before and she was more than happy to assist. I'm glad I get to wear this on me proudly.”
D Marie“My tattoo artist, Dina, was nothing short of a miracle worker. Her talent is evident in every stroke of her needle. She took the time to listen to my ideas and transformed them into a stunning design that perfectly captured my vision. Throughout the process, Dina was not only skilled but also incredibly friendly, making sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. I am already saving for my next piece with her!!”
